NURI Telecom cooperates with GE to advance into the SmaSong-Man Cho, CEO of NURI Telecom and Bob Gilligan, VP of GE Energy, have signed the Agreement to cooperate with each other for Smart Grid business on Sep. 21 at the Ronald Regan building in Washington DC during the Grid Week

The main contents of this Agreement intend

- To establish a communication mechanism to exchange information and market intelligence related to Smart Grid that is beneficial for both companies,

- To cooperate with each other to promote further business success of both companies working on not only future projects but also on-going projects, and

- To explore Smart Grid related business opportunities where it is appropriate and makes sense for both companies to work together in the global market.


The agreement aims business extension in global Smart Grid market through the cooperation between NURI Telecom who has AMI system and GE who has electricity grid solutions and global business network.


GE participated in AMI system implementation project, awarded to NURI Telecom in Sweden at 2007, by providing smart meter NURI awarded. And through the agreement, both parities are preparing the award of AMI system implementation for electricity and gas in UK as the first collaborative business.


"This agreement will let NURI establish a bridgehead to enter US ?the largest smart grid market in the world - and strengthen marketing power in overseas AMI market to leverage future export." said Song-Man Cho, CEO of NURI Telecom.
